Credentialed Care Under Our Medical Director & Clinical Social Workers in PCB
Meet our Medical Director
Thrive’s Medical Director is experienced and trained to qualify people for medical marijuana, but is also a board-certified urologist. He is dedicated to providing compassionate care, integrating alternative care options like the Emsella Chair and medical cannabis into mainstream patient care. Experience providing Florida medical marijuana evaluations since 2019, he approaches this field with the same rigor and compassion that has defined his three-decade career in medicine.
He attended Fordham University and graduated from New York Medical College in 1993. Possessing extensive experience as a urologist treating an array of chronic conditions and performing various surgeries was the impetus behind bringing an Emsella Chair to Thrive. This background has also given him a profound understanding of complex medical issues, from pain management and neurological symptoms to anxiety and post-operative recovery—all issues that may be helped with medical cannabis.

Reducing Stigma Through Professionalism:
In an area of medicine that is still evolving, Thrive’s Medical Director’s focus is on providing a highly professional, medical-grade evaluation process. Patients consistently describe him as a compassionate, caring physician and the ultimate professional, known for his friendly, encouraging bedside manner. He’s seen Emsella Chair success stories firsthand, treating ED and urinary incontinence and enhancing sexual wellness. And the belief that medical cannabis is a valid, therapeutic option drives the Thrive team to ensure every patient receives an evaluation grounded in established medical best practices.
Your Path to Wellness:
Thrive’s Medical Director is committed to helping residents of Panama City Beach and the surrounding areas navigate the process of improving their quality of life. Obtaining a medical marijuana certification card, improving relationships and confidence by treating ED symptoms, or getting back to activities by reducing dribbles and pad usage can all be game changers.
Away from his clinical practice, our medical director is a lifelong learner and an avid listener of audiobooks, always expanding his knowledge. He enjoys spending time with his three adult children, is a dedicated supporter of animal rescue organizations, and you can often find him on the driving range or golf course, always aiming to improve his score.
Meet Suzanne Clark, LCSW: Clinic Director
My philosophy is simple: while my qualifications are important, the therapeutic alliance—your connection and trust with me—is what truly drives healing and growth. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing what you are really experiencing.
A Whole Person Approach
I believe in a whole person approach, considering how your physical, spiritual, financial, occupational, and social well-being intersect with your mental health. This is one of the reasons I enjoy helping people with Emsella Chair treatments – reducing physical symptoms that keep us from enjoying activities, or getting a good night’s sleep, easily affect our mood and quality of life.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me cheering on the Seminoles, enjoying Northwest Florida’s beautiful beaches, paddle-boarding, golfing, gardening, and spending time with my two Air Force grandbabies.
