Yes! The State of Florida allows seasonal residents to get a medical marijuana card. If you live in Florida for 31 consecutive days and provide us with two pieces of verified documentation, we can see you for a medical marijuana evaluation. Call our office with questions.

Will I definitely get certified if I see Dr. Loughlin?

When does my medical marijuana card expire?

A Florida medical marijuana card expires every 12 months. The State of Florida requires a visit with a qualified physician to monitor effectiveness, reassess needs, and re-certify every 210 days. We will remind you when it’s time to re-certify with us.

What happens during my visit with Dr. Loughlin?

An in-person physical examination and a full assessment of your medical history is required the first time you see a doctor for State of Florida medical cannabis card certification. At your 7-month renewal visit, a telehealth visit may be an option if you’re seeing the same doctor.

Can I do a telehealth visit?

Yes! Once you’ve met with Dr. Loughlin for an in-person evaluation, your recertification visits may be telehealth.
