What happens during my doctor visit for a medical card?
An in-person physical examination and a full assessment of your medical history is required the first time you see a doctor for State of Florida medical cannabis card certification. At your 7-month renewal visit, a telehealth visit may be an option if you’re seeing the same doctor.
Can I do a telehealth visit for any Thrive services?
Yes! Our counselors see people using Telehealth. And once you’ve met with our doctor for an in-person medical marijuana card evaluation, your recertification visits for the medical card may be telehealth.
